Cancellations sent to the Company in writing by letter or email and received by the Company within 14 days of the order date will be accepted, if the goods have not been despatched. Otherwise see Return Policy below.
We hope you will love your purchase, but if you find it unsuitable or you’re not entirely satisfied, please notify us within 14 days by email or letter of your intention to return the product(s). We ask that you return products to us unused, in their original packaging intact. You will be entitled to a refund or replacement if returned products reach us within 28 days. Please ensure that returns are packed and labelled carefully so that they are not lost or damaged in transit.
Heavy goods items can be taken away at the point of delivery free of charge, but if you subsequently decide to return the products, it may take up to 28 days for collection (40 days for more remote areas) and a charge of £50 will be made. Please contact our customer services department on 0333 2079767 to arrange returns of heavy goods.
Please note that replacements for exchange of damaged goods will not be dispatched until the original item has been received at our warehouse.
WHICH ITEMS CANNOT BE RETURNED?
Certain items are excluded from our returns policy for health protection or hygiene purposes once the sealed packaging has been opened, unless the item is found to be faulty. These products are mattresses, duvets, pillows, mattress toppers, mattress protectors and Bed linen if you find it unsuitable or you’re not entirely satisfied, please notify us within 14 days by email or letter of your intention to return the product(s).
We ask that you return products to us unused, unwashed and with its original packaging and seal intact. Return of an item is at your own cost unless the item is faulty.
The Cotswold Bed Company do not give refunds on the following items:
• Items returned after 28 days.
• Damaged items not notified by telephone to us within 14 days.
• Bespoke pieces - products that are made to your unique specification or that are personalised for you, including made-to-measure Headboards, Bedsteads, Divans, Furniture Accessories or any other bespoke items, unless the item is faulty.
• Mattresses cannot be returned once taken out of the original packaging for hygiene reasons.
This does not affect your statutory rights to cancel or your legal rights in relation to faulty or miss-described products.
HOW DO I RETURN SOMETHING?
We are not allowed to accept returns to our concession stores (which are stores within another department store) unless the purchase has been made there.
Alternatively, you need to notify us within 14 days by email or letter of your intention to return the product(s). Then you can send your return by post. The "Tax Invoice" that came with your parcel has clear instructions of how to do this. Please complete the reverse side of the "Tax Invoice" with the details of the items you are returning and enclose the note with your returned parcel.
Please always include a daytime telephone number and your email address in case we need to contact you about the return.
If you no longer you have your delivery note, please include a letter with your name, address, email address, daytime telephone number and customer number if possible. Please let us know what you are returning and why.

Parcels are returned at your own cost, and we strongly recommend you obtain a free certificate of postage from the Post Office as we are responsible for your parcel only once it has been received into our warehouse. Items lost in transit will not be treated as returned.
